Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
How Can bad Odour Urination Along With Fatigue Be Treated?
I have am a paraplegic, T8 complete. I have very strong smelling urine, fatigue, increased muscle spasms, nausea and stomach hurts. I had the nurse check my urine. She said it was completely bacteria free. I am confused. Any ideas what is wrong?
I read your message and understood your medical problem.
I see you are a paraplegic patient. As your nurse has checked your urine and it was bacteria free this increases my concern that some bigger problem is present.
I think you must consult your doctor as fast as possible to do a check up and a complete examination because there is a chance that your symptoms may express a condition called fibromyalgia.
The symptoms of fibromyalgia sometimes begin after a trauma or a major surgery. Anyway, this is just an assumption and you must not worry too much now. You maybe are sick just because of a common virus that has affected your stomach and gives you all the symptoms you mentioned.
The strong smelling urine could be due to increased concentration of urine (perhaps due to dehydration), or because of any strong drink you might have consumed (binged or coffee).
Hope this is helpful for you.
